The Philippine College of Swine Practitioners (PCSP) will hold the 22nd PINOY PORK CHALLENGE on October 4, 2018 at the Seda Hotel in Quezon City. The conference theme is “Emerging & Reemerging Diseases of Swine in the Philippines”. The event will be a whole day affair and will start at 8.00 AM.

Invited guest speaker is Senator Cynthia Villar to speak on “Government Support Policies for Business Continuity in the Face of a Disease Challenge”.

The conference will also feature officials from the DA/BAI to discuss programs to prevent business disruption during disease outbreaks, preparedness in preventing the entry of Foreign Animal Diseases (FAD) and the control and eradication of major economic diseases of swine.  Regional perspective on transboundary diseases will be provided by an invited speaker from the OIE. Both foreign & local experts on swine diseases will provide the latest knowledge on emerging & re-emerging diseases of swine.

Veterinarians, swine raisers, agriculturists, & livestock industry stakeholders are invited to attend. The conference was applied for the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit units with the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).
